Farm Worker

Job description

General farm labor, including but not limited to, aid in soil preparation; remove rocks, roots, limbs, stumps, trees, and other debris from the fields and farm area; sod large areas; sow grass seed; plant plugs of sod grass; cut, roll, and stack sods by hand; weed, hoe, and propagate; operate tractors and trucks.

Work schedules may vary, and employees may be assigned to rotating shifts, including evening or weekend work as needed. Duties may change during the workday depending on crop and weather conditions or other needs. Workers will perform a variety of general farm labor tasks as assigned, consistent with the job description and within the certified hours.

Special Requirements

Must be able to obtain driver's license. Must be eligible to obtain CDL.
