Job description
Performs general farm operations including:
operating and maintaining tractors, implements, and farm equipment for tilling, planting, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting crops;
applying chemicals in compliance with regulations; using small tractoror backpack sprayer to spray field edges and ditches.
mowing, hoeing, and removing weeds and rocks;
maintaining and repairing farm structures, fencing, and grounds;
loading, unloading, and hauling crops and inputs using farm-exempt trucks and utility vehicles;
assisting with truck weighing and maintaining delivery records; and completing general farm clean-up and manual labor as needed.
This is a Skill Level 1 that requires at least one month general farm labor. The worker will receive training, guidance and additional supervision with job duties.

Prohibited and Unacceptable Conduct
Per 20 CFR 655.135 (j), The employer and its agents have not sought or received payment of any kind from any employee subject to 8 U.S.C. 1188 for any activity related to obtaining H-2A labor certification, including payment of the employer's attorneys' fees, application fees, or recruitment costs. For purposes of this paragraph, payment includes, but is not limited to, monetary payments, wage concessions (including deductions from wages, salary, or benefits), kickbacks, bribes, tributes, in kind payments, and free labor.
This provision does not prohibit employers or their agents from receiving reimbursement for costs that are the responsibility and primarily for the benefit of the worker, such as government-required passport, or visa fees. Worker will be reimbursed should the worker receive a visa and arrive at the place of work.
