Job description
The employer will furnish, without charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required in the performance of the specified work. Workers will be charged for any willful damage or loss of such tools and equipment.
Diversified crops: corn, beans, wheat, hay & straw
Workers may fill planters with seed from 50lb. Bags.
Workers may operate equipment to prepare fields.
Workers may spray crops for weeds and grass.
Workers may apply water and fertilizers.
Workers may restock trucks and equipment with seed bags.
Workers may use equipment to prepare fields for planting.
Other Duties:
Workers may drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, and harvest of row crops. perform variety of other duties such as husking and shelling corn, lubricating and repairing farm machinery unloading grain onto conveyors to storage bins and elevators. Assis in set up of product for sale of crop.
Special Requirements
General Conditions:
Workers will begin at an assigned time, 7:00 am and continue until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If work is available beyond normal workdays the employer may offer, but not require, the worker the opportunity to work additional hours. Workers are not required to work the Sabbath Day or Federal Holidays. Workers may be required to work in the fields that are wet with dew or rain and should have suitable clothing for conditions including light rain and temperatures ranging from 60 degrees to more than 100 degrees. Workers will be trained for two days (16 Hours) after which the worker will be to perform all listed job duties in an effective manner.
Employees may be subject to random drug tests, post-employment at employers cost.
WORKERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO STAND, WALK, BEND & STOOP, ALSO LIFT 60-80 LBS UP TO 4 FT. FOR EXTENDED PERIODS.
WORKERS MAY BE SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG TESTS AT EMPLOYERS COST.
