Job description

Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or
sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and
weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Load and unload crops or containers of
materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Operate or
tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation
equipment. Observe and listen to machinery operations to detect equipment malfunctions.
Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Drive trucks
to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable
experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food
safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion. Workers must be responsible, follow instructions, and comply with attendance, punctuality,
