Job description
Workers will harvest strawberries:
-Plant and cultivate crops for production;
-Perform hand cultivation tasks such as preparing soil, freeing soil from extraneous weeds, placing plants into the soil, replanting when needed;
-Pick fruit from plant or use knife to remove fruit according to size, color, shape and degree of maturity;
-Keep count of harvested and loaded crops; ensuring accuracy of all counts, record keeping, overages, shortages, wrong product harvesting;
-May separate fruit according to size and uniformity and place in container, and,
-Close container after packing and stacking full containers according to size.
Special Requirements
-Employer will train workers to perform necessary job duties.
-No special machinery or equipment will be used for the harvesting of crops.
-Employer will furnish all necessary tools and supplies for the harvesting of crops at no cost to the worker.
