Job description
Operating self-propelled equipment including semi-truck with trailer, harvester, tractor, loader, service truck in the process of reaping, harvesting, threshing, swathing or winnowing crops such as corn, wheat; Load crops onto truck trailer by driving alongside harvesting machine without stopping, maintain appropriate distance; Perform manual or mechanical adjustments; Maintain and repair; Drive semi-truck to transport harvested crops from fields to elevators, silos, or other storage areas; Drive trucks from one field to another; Perform safety checks on equipment. While a CDL is not required for the job, some workers hired under this job order may already possess or obtain one.
Special Requirements
Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
