Job description

The worker will perform general tasks such as harvesting, picking, packing, and cleaning work areas. All tasks will be carried out under supervision following safety and operational standards. The agricultural worker will perform manual labor related to blueberry harvesting, placing them in containers, and manually moving crops or materials according to the supervisor's instructions. In addition, the employee will help maintain clean and safe work areas by removing leaves, weeds, crop residues, or other materials that could interfere with the farm's daily operations. The employee will also perform sanitation tasks on the farm and in storage facilities, including weeding, raking, and cleaning around the farm and buildings, keeping order and hygiene at all times. All tasks will be carried out in accordance with basic safety standards and instructions from supervisory staff, as well as with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) policies, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. Workers are required to report to the designated workplace at the assigned time each day. An unpaid lunch break will be provided.

Special Requirements

Two months of verifiable harvesting experience are required. Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Perform repetitive movements. Work outdoors in normal weather conditions only. Must be 18 years or older. The employer is a drug-free workplace. Drug tests are conducted after hiring at the employer's expense and are not part of the interview process. Negative results are required before starting work.
