Job description
Prepare calving facility. Calve out calves during the calving season. Medicate, vaccinate and treat for seasonal sicknesses. Care for newborn calves and nursing mothers. Monitor newborn calves and nursing mothers. Isolate sick calves. Move cattle to and from summer grazing pastures. Wean all calves during the weaning season. Operate farming equipment in order to plant, spray, harvest and haul small grain and native wildflower and grass crops. Harvest, bale and stack hay. Transport crops to storage facilities. Mow yards. Build, fix and repair fencing. General farm maintenance duties such as servicing and cleaning equipment, facility maintenance and shop work.
Special Requirements
Drivers license in 30 days. Clean driving record required.
