Quality Control Inspector

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Inspector who will travel to multiple locations throughout the day to ensure accurate product selection, high-quality produce, and proper loading for trucks. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect products to ensure the correct items are selected for shipment.
Verify consistency between the bill of lading and the number of boxes loaded onto the truck.
Travel to various locations as needed to perform inspections and loading duties.
Remove boxes from pallets for inspection in the middle of the pallet and re-pack as required.
Take clear, detailed photos of produce and packaging at each inspection and send them to the supervisor for review.
Ensure produce is top quality and free of defects; document any quality issues and communicate them promptly to the supervisor.
Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Ensure loads are secured and documentation is accurate before departure.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed during inspections.

Special Requirements

Valid Driver's License required to drive the company car, 2025 Chevy Trax, to and from worksite locations as needed.
Must have a clean criminal history.
Extensive walking as needed.
Frequent stooping and bending over are required to inspect produce.
