Job description
Prepare bees and beekeeping equipment. Monitor beehives. Maintain and increase beehives. Work bees. Make splits. Prepare bees for pollination. Load and unload beehives. Manage bee colonies for top honey production. Feed, medicate and requeen hives. Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment. Harvest, extract and package honey. Sanitize plant. Operate forklift to move pallets. Service equipment. Winterize all beekeeping facilities and equipment at the end of the season.
Special Requirements
Must be able to provide references to verify experience. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively.
