Crops: Vegetables, Strawberries

Workers will perform a variety of duties related to the production and handling of produce including, but not limited to: harvesting, picking, washing, sorting, grading, and packaging; stacking and loading product for storage or shipment; and assisting with field maintenance activities such as hoeing, weeding, and removal of debris. Workers may also assist with the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of irrigation systems and other crop support structures, including installation and removal of stakes, ties, and coverings. Additional duties include general greenhouse labor, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, including washing containers, sweeping and scrubbing floors, organizing materials, and performing general farm, field, and shop maintenance. Ag Equipment Operator.

Special Requirements

2 months experience working in a commercial greenhouse. On-site-training for curtain task. Applicants must furnish affirmative job references from recent employers operating comparable operations establishing acceptable previous experience. Must be physically able to meet and perform all job specifications stated in job order. Must be able to work in the hot humid weather for extended periods of time. Workers are subject to random drug testing at no cost to the employee. All drug testing will occur after the worker begins his or her employment and is not a part of the interview process. Failing or refusing a drug test will result in immediate termination.
