Job description
Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Operate or tend
equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation
equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information. Drive trucks
to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant,
cultivate, harvest and store grain crops.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug
screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive sitting is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to
the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and
safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the
