Job description

Bathroom attendant is responsible to oversee the general cleanliness of bathrooms as well as monitor proper hand washing compliance.
Every morning, the attendant will do a walk-through around portable toilets and ensure that they are in working order and properly stocked.
General cleaning, draining of tanks, vacuum service vehicles, and restocking of the unit should be done as needed.
Attendant will notify supervisor of any water containers that need filling and/or repairs needed to the units.
Attendant will monitor employees' hand washing and verify that employees are complying with the company's hand washing protocol before entering the field or returning back to work.
Following proper hand washing, the bathroom attendant is responsible to give employees a clean pair of gloves.
Any non-compliance of hand washing should be reported immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain a valid state-issued driver's license, Class C.
Maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Janitors are required to drive vans or other vehicles to worksites.

Work under this contract will consist of harvesting Apples, Bell Peppers, Cherries, Grapes and Onions. In addition to harvesting, workers will also pack produce in the field, load and stack, weed and hoe, irrigate, perform general labor, operate a tractor, forklift, and/or other agricultural machinery.

Workers may be assigned to perform any of the duties listed in this job order and may be
required to perform different duties interchangeably based on operational needs.

Special Requirements

Candidates must have at least three (3) months of verifiable experience within the last two (2) years in agriculture, specifically related to Apples, Bell Peppers, Cherries, Grapes and Onions, to prevent crop damage and personal injury. Work will be performed under variable weather conditions, and all duties must be carried out in a manner that consistently demonstrates Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and adherence to the highest food safety standards.

Workers are required to attend a mandatory orientation, for which time will be compensated.
Workers must be able to understand English or Spanish, the languages spoken and written in the workplace, in order to follow work and safety instructions.
Workers must possess a valid state driver's license to operate company vehicles, and they may be required to transport other workers as part of their job
duties.
