Job description

The employer is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to assist with the apple harvesting season. Duties include clipping flowers, hand thinning, tying and harvesting apples, as well as general farm labor. Workers should follow safety and farm instructions. This job will be done under varying outdoor extreme weather conditions such as heat, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind, and exposure to pollen. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping, reaching and lifting will be involved on a regular basis. Workers must be able to perform all job duties in a safe manner and must possess the ability to pick up and handle a 16-foot orchard ladder weighing 40 pounds. Workers will be expected to perform job duties in a timely and proficient manner.

Special Requirements

Workers must be dependable and punctual and have the ability to stand, bend, and work for long periods outdoors. They must pay attention to detail and quality. Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work. Bilingual in English is a plus but not a requirement.
