Job description

May perform any combination of tasks related to the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of fruit, apples, and various vegetables including but not limited to, peas, tomatoes, greens, peppers, eggplant, asian vegetables, summer and fall squash, corn, pumpkins and cut flowers. Minimum apple harvest of 10 bushels per hour. Other duties may include; operate tractor, repair and maintain farm vehicles and fences, implements and mechanical equipment, pruning, weeding, thinning, spraying, mowing, land clearing, irrigating and harvesting. May use hand tools such as shovel, hoe, rake, pruning shears. We will then transition into apple harvest in the fall and summer months. Other tools will then include but are not limited to, ladder and picking bucket. 1 months experience in duties listed required.

Workers may not utilize electronic communication devices, such as cell phones, i-phones, etc. during work hours. Workers may use their phone on lunch break. Failure to comply with this policy will result in disciplinary action including write ups and/or termination.

Special Requirements

Exposure to extreme temp, lifting 50 lbs, repetitive movements, extensive pushing and pulling, extensive walking, frequent stooping.
