Job description

Work with many different types of farm machinery for preparing and loading feed. Loading and unloading trailers from on top or down below with correct feed. Use a forklift ad pallet jack. Adheres to the cleaning schedule. Walks on catwalks and up on top of the elevator and climb ladders as needed. Perform all activities required to complete daily checklist. Worker will the exposed to many different types of organic grain dust temperature swings. Feed may be bagged or bulk. Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines. Maintain inventory, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery. Position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products. Remove and close full containers. Record information about crops. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, forklift, packaging equipment, pickups, cars, etc, skid steers, straight frame trucks, loaders, feed mill. Any feed drive must have a CDL. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
