Agricultural Worker

Job description

Workers will perform a variety of manual agricultural tasks associated with the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops including muscadines, citrus, blueberries, and mangos. Duties require physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Duties Include:
Hand harvesting of muscadines, citrus, blueberries, and mangos according to quality and productivity standards
Planting crops using hand tools or manual methods
Field maintenance activities such as weeding, pruning, thinning, and general crop care
Carrying, loading, and unloading harvested products
Cleaning and maintaining work areas, tools, and equipment
Following all safety, sanitation, and agricultural regulations
Job Requirements:
Must be able to perform prolonged walking, bending, stooping, and repetitive movements
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
Ability to work in hot, humid, or inclement weather conditions
Work requires manual dexterity and attention to detail to avoid crop damage
Must follow supervisor instructions and work as part of a team
Work Hours & Conditions:
Work is performed outdoors in agricultural fields
Workdays may begin early and vary depending on crop conditions and weather
Workers may be required to work weekends and extended hours during peak harvest periods
