Job description
Job duties include operating tractors for plowing, shredding, and planting, as well as using skid loaders for dirt work, shredding, and brush clearing. Workers will perform routine grounds maintenance such as mowing and weed eating, along with applying herbicides to control weeds and maintain fence lines Additional responsibilities include clearing brush using hand tools, pressure washing equipment and facilities, and assisting with feeding operations, which involves handling 50-pound feed bags and operating a pneumatic feed trailer. General cleaning and upkeep of work areas are also required. Workers must be physically capable of performing manual labor in outdoor conditions, follow safety protocols, and work efficiently as part of a team to support daily agricultural operations. Drug screening may be conducted after hire in the event of an accident or incident at the employer’s expense, and failure or refusal to submit to a required drug test may result in immediate termination.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may request additional work hours based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
