Job description
Run baler, swather, hay rake, spray rig, seeder, plow, ripper, and motorcycle. Must efficiently operate both an electronic and manual pump station without damage to the system. Must service and maintain equipment such as baler, swather, hay rake, spray rig, seeder, plow, ripper, trucks and motorcycles. Must maintain and moving both wheel lines and handlines multiple times a day. Job duties include digging ditches, chopping thistles and spraying weeds and thistles efficiently as to not damage crops or allow invasive plant growth. Must divert, re direct and maintain canal irrigation water in necessary directions. Must effectively start, maintained and run flood irrigation systems. Must operate and maintaining manual and computerized center pivots and linier irrigation systems.
Special Requirements
Must be familiar with basic hay farming procedure. Must be efficient in runing baler, swather, hay rake, spray rig, seeder, plow, ripper, and motorcycle. Must be able to efficiently operate both an electronic and manual pump station without damage to the system. Must be able to service and maintain equipment such as baler, swather, hay rake, spray rig, seeder, plow, ripper, trucks and motorcycles. Must be knowledgeable and efficient at both maintaining and moving both wheel lines and handlines multiple times a day. Job duties include digging ditches, chopping thistles and spraying weeds and thistles efficiently as to not damage crops or allow invasive plant growth. Must be knowledgeable in diverting, re directing and maintaining canal irrigation water in necessary directions. Must be efficient in flood irrigation practices. Must be efficient in operating and maintaining both center pivots and linier irrigation systems. Must work independently and with others.
