Job description

Attend to live farm, ranch animals including cattle and horses such as feeding/supplementing, watering, branding, leading, tying, catching, loading animals; Freshen bedding and remove manure; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Operate farm vehicle such as UTV, lawnmower, small tractor; Maintain animal housing areas including cleaning stalls and barn; Maintain records such as pictures and videos of livestock; Restrain livestock for farrier and chiropractor; Recapture any escaped animals; Assist in birthing, weaning, and marketing; Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. . Lift up to 50 lbs.
