Job description
Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to: operating various farm equipment forplanting, spraying, and harvesting of crops; machinery maintenance, grain handling, drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, and farm workers. Rock picking and maintaining farm grounds, and other seasonal farm duties as assigned.Farming with: Barley, Canola, Corn, Dry Beans, Soy Beans, Wheat
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children and expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
