Job description
Basic landscape/horticultural services that includes the usse of ride on mowers, hedge trimmers, tractors, weedwackers, thatchers, sod cutters, wheel barrows. Installation of turf, planting of trees & shrubs, irrigation work .Temporary full time employment. 04/01/21-12/15/21. Days vary Monday-Saturday. 8am-5pm. One hour lunch break. 40 hours/week. May get up to 15 hours per week overtime when available. Housing is available, utilities included, for $90.00 per week which will be deducted from paycheck weekly. Workers will meet at the company yard at 1680 US Rt. 1, York Harbor, and will be transported to work-sites at multiple locations in York County. This seasonal job will pay 17.00 per hour, and will pay an overtime rate of 25.50 per hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages. Workers will be paid weekly, on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will transport workers to & from each job location. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging), to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half of the employment period. Employer agrees to reimburse inbound transportation and subsistence expenses (subsistence is $12.68 per day minimum, without receipts, to a maximum of $55 per day, with receipts) from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
