Job description
Perform duties on a farm for a farmer such as: Drive/operate equipment such as GPS autosteersystems and skid-steer loader for liquid and dry manure management; attach implements;perform removal, pumping, application, and treatment of manure. Clear and maintain irrigation ditches. Clean and maintain yards, grounds, and facilities. Record information about liquid manure management. Repair, lubricate, and maintain equipment and pumps. May need to change oil, equipment disassembly and reassembly, minor welding, fabricating and sanding/grinding. Farming with: Silage. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
