Job description
Commercial Manure Applicator: Injecting Liquid Dairy Manure through an Umbilical Cord
System. Drive/operate farm equipment such as tractors, pickups and trailers, and ATV's.
Duties required: Running agitations equipment within the lagoons from the berm: Use Stick
Agitators along with Nuhn boat agitators. Help unroll and roll hose in and out of fields off of
Puck Hose Carts, Drive Tractor to hose hump; which is moving hose within the field. Drive
ATV's in and out of fields checking hose and Booster Pumps. Washing equipment during and
after season as needed. Workers will also assist in the harvest of corn silage by assisting in the
operation of custom class harvesting machines. Workers will also assist with loading and
unloading necessary equipment and routine cleaning to prepare all equipment for future work.
No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required. Farming with: Corn silage.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of
operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive
pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically
demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety
regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional
