Job description
Worker will plant and cultivate seasonal food plots. Workers will work with seasonal deer breeding and will perform duties of fawning, hunting/culling, and processing deer, and fill feeders in fall. Workers will control habitat erosion, predator and native species control, supplemental feeding and watering, prescribed burning, cactus spraying, pond and fence repair, cedar/oak tree trimming and pasture improvements. Workers will operate brush hogs, hydraulic shears, bulldozers, and chainsaws for brush management. No equipment can be operated during the months of June and July and the deer must not be disturbed during these months for their breeding/estrous cycles. Workers are required to have 3 months of verifiable experience.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of cell phones during work hours is prohibited, supervisors will have phones in case of emergency.
