Job description
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Duties include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing lawns, trimming of shrubs, planting trees, shrubs and flowers, watering, fertilizing, weeding of beds, digging, raking/blowing leaves, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. The use of tractors or heavy equipment is not required to perform the job duties.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 50lbs. and to use small hand tools and train to use ride on lawn mowers. Employer-paid background and drug testing required for foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident. Post-hire background checks may be required of foreign and domestic workers based on contract requirements. Driving is not a requirement of all workers in the position. Workers who drive a company vehicle will drive company field truck (Gross Vehicle Weight being less than 26,001 pounds) to/from specified destinations within area of intended employment, and employer will require that a successful applicant possess or be able to obtain a valid U.S. drivers license, or foreign equivalent.
Workdays and Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm (hours & start/end times may vary). Employer will offer at least (no less than) 40 hours per week.
