Job description

Agricultural Equipment operators work closely with the Treating, Packaging, and Warehousing Supervisor, as well as the Plant Operations Manager.
Essential job functions may include, but not limited to:
• Transport workers to and from Company facility Location(s)

• Seasonal Packaging Operations:
Work closely with the Treating and Packaging Supervisor and Plant Operations Manager to ensure that corn seed packages meet customer requirements. Responsibilities include:
Performing work activities safely.
Lifting and stacking materials up to 68 lbs for extended periods of time
Standing to fill and close packaged product for extended periods of time.
Successfully pass the forklift training and receive an operator’s certificate.
Operating bagging equipment according to instructions
Ensuring that bag labels are accurate, neat, legible and professional in appearance
Application of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages
Thorough cleaning of all equipment in order to maintain product integrity;
Ensuring that seed pallets are neatly stacked and securely wrapped from packaging line; deliver finished seed pallets or boxes to the warehouse.
Prepare and clean (if needed) packaging materials to be used according to customer specifications. This would include boxes and paper bags.
Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area
