Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; pick rocks, plant grains. Provide necessary support activities like cleaning seed, transporting and loading seeds and fertilizers to field sites. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine, sprayer, tractor and grain cart. Perform all duties involved with haying. Local transport of crops to elevator or storage area. Perform worksite, building, and grain storage maintenance. Clean farm equipment.

Crop List: Alfalfa, Canola, Barley, Corn, Dry Peas, Durum, Hay, Soy Beans, Sunflower, Wheat, and Lentils

Special Requirements

Extensive pushing, pulling and sitting. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. No minimum education required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
