Farmworker/harvester

Job description

The employer is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to assist with the harvest season (including pre and post-harvest). Duties required: Harvesting, planting, counting, loading, unloading and field packing strawberries, blueberries and cantaloupe. Other duties may include grading and packing in the field or shed/packinghouse located on the farm, field walking and general farm labor such as, but not limited to, pulling weeds and plastic, raking, laying irrigation pipes and plastic, digging ditches, cleaning around shed areas, field and camp sanitation, and farm or housing maintenance. Workers should follow safety and farm instructions. This job will be done under varying outdoor extreme weather conditions such as heat, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind and exposure to pollen. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping, reaching and lifting will be involved on a regular basis. Background check and random drug testing will be post-hire at employer's expense. 834 workers needed to start on 8/1/26; 40 workers needed to start on 9/18/26; 283 workers needed to start on 10/25/26; and the remaining 130 workers needed to start on 11/6/26.

Special Requirements

Workers must be dependable and punctual and have the ability to stand, bend, and work for long periods outdoors. They must pay attention to detail and quality. Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work. (Continued in Addendum C.)
