Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties under SOC Code 45-2091 such as: Irrigate soil using center pivots and maintain irrigation systems; Confer with managers to make decisions such as soil moisture profile condition, crop progress, and irrigation requirements; Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions into containers; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery such as pumps, irrigation motors, sprinklers; Notify supervisor when irrigation system malfunctions. Approximate staggered entry: 10 workers to start Aug 15 and 10 workers to start Oct 1.
Special Requirements
One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
