Job description

Agricultural Equipment Operator description: Agricultural Equipment Operators drive and control various farm equipment to harvest an array of crops, to include peas and corn with the attention to detail in their surroundings throughout the operation in a safe and careful manner.
This job may also include the operation of stationary equipment to perform post-harvest tasks.
Pre inspection is to be completed by operators for all equipment intended to be used for assigned duties before they operate the equipment. Upon the recognition of service needs such as adjustments, repairs, etc.; the operator must notify the supervisor immediately. Observe and listen to machinery during operation in order to detect malfunctions and maintain optimal performance for harvesting needs. Maintain and manipulate controls to set, activate, adjust and fine tune machinery mechanisms. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools and farm workers. Load hoppers, containers, trucks, truck trailers with agriculture products being
harvested. Operate farm equipment.

Special Requirements

Workers are recruited to work at KM Medelez LLC. and will be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the employer.
B.4e) Must be able to lift and/or load 60lbs continuously.
B.4g) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
B.4h) May require extensive pulling and/or pushing.
B.4i) May require worker to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time.
B.4j) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over.
B.4k) There will be repetitive movements while performing most of the equipment operator duties.
