Job description

Duties may include: Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Participate in harvesting, inspecting, sorting, and storing corn. The worker must be able to work long hours in all weather conditions including heat, humidity, rain, high pollen, and other harsh conditions. The worker must have the required strength and endurance to complete the work and have the ability to work quickly and skillfully with their hands & other related Farmworker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).

Possible weekend/holiday work.

The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.

Special Requirements

Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 25lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Variable weather conditions may apply. Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer. Employees are expected to keep employer-provided vehicles clean and free of trash. Workers may not post or remove notices, signs, or other instructions from the employers bulletin boards or the employers property without specific authorization from the employer.
