Poultry Farm Worker

Job description

Assist in all aspects of poultry production, including the care and handling of chickens from hatch to processing.

Collect cloaca (vent) chicks and monitor their health and growth throughout the production cycle.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in poultry houses and surrounding areas.

Sanitize, repair, and maintain equipment and tools used in daily operations.

Monitor and record data related to feed, water, temperature, and overall bird health.

Perform general farm duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and upkeep of facilities.

Operate various agricultural machinery and equipment such as tractors, spreaders, loaders, and utility vehicles to transport feed, bedding, and waste materials.

Follow biosecurity protocols and safety standards at all times.
