Job description
This job consists of Truck Driving and Loading Crops:
TRUCK DRIVING
- Drive from farms and hop Brokers and repeat.
- Ability to drive and backup a tractor-trailer combination.
- Ability to tie down loads properly.
- Class 8 tractor-trailer with nine and ten speed transmission, 42, 48, and 53 foot flatbed trailers.
- Intrastate day trips, able to speak, read and understand English enough to fi ll out daily paperwork, understand load sheets and follow
instructions.
- Must have a valid CDL License or Licencia de Conductor (LFC) license.
- Must be able to drive and manage freeway and city traffic without difficulty.
- Must know to stop and how to handle the paperwork at all mandated State scale checkpoints.
LOADING CROPS
- Loading hop bales with forklift on flatbed tractor trailer
Other Duties as Assigned: All other duties assigned under this order will be those duties of Heavy and Medium Duty Tractor-Trailer/ Truck Drivers under the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment Statistics Standard Occupational Classification Code 53-3032.

Special Requirements
Drivers must have 6 months of experience driving tractor-trailer combinations.
