Job description
Pick dirt clods and vines from potatoes as they move across conveyor belt within the farm's potato building. Scrape vines and dirt off conveyor belts. The potato buildings located on the farm will be swept and vacuumed including the floor surfaces and air floor vent areas. After dirt is removed, the surfaces will be washed and disinfected with water using a pressure hose. Participate in inspection, grading, sorting, storage and post-harvest treatment of crops. Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items
weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Workers must have positive verifiable experience
relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees
must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety
regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company
vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion. Workers
must be responsible, follow instructions, and comply with attendance, punctuality, and work schedules, as repeated absenteeism.
