Warehouse Laborer

Job description

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to the production of onions for the majority of the workdays in the overall contract period.

Duties include: standing for long periods on hard, concrete surfaces at grading tables grading and sorting onions by size, color and aesthetic appearance; removing inferior product and debris; examining containers, materials, or products to ensure that product quality and packing specifications are met; placing bags/containers on scales; placing onions into bags/containers and ensuring correct weight; sealing bags/containers; placing/stacking bags on pallets by hand; assembling cartons, crates, and containers; loading materials and products into package processing equipment; cleaning facilities and work areas.
