Job description

Perform winter farm maintenance work. Fix and repair farm structures. Remove snow from farm property. Perform land conservation work. Clean out drainage ditches. Transport and add soil to lowlands to improve riverbed levees. Build and maintain terrace systems on land that is classified with a Highly Erodible Land (HEL) Determination. Haul agricultural commodities from storage facilities to local markets utilizing grain trucks. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
