Job description

We operate a agriculture business in Minnesota, where we plant and harvest a variety of crops including corn, surgar beets, and soybeans, and Organic corn and Sunflowers. We utilize a variety of farm equipment including: tractors, wheel loaders, skid loaders, forklifts, and excavator/backhoe. Employees will assist with planting, spraying, spreading fertilizer and manure, and cultivating, operating combine on corn and soybeans, tillage, rock picking, and hauling seed, chemicals, grain or turkey litter. Employees will keep accurate records of seed, chemicals, grain and turkey litter. Employees will operate grain storage equipment and irrigation systems, as well as clean ditches with excavators and/or other equipment and box scraping to level land. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive walking, sitting, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Require 2 months experience.
