Farm Worker

Job description

Pistachio, pomegranate, and almond agricultural workers to perform the following duties:

As directed by the supervisor, and observing all safety rules of the company, perform agricultural related work both manually and/or with the use of the company’s farm equipment such as a tractor (with various implements), ATV, shaker, sweeper, harvester.

Functions include, but are not limited to:

Discing, mowing, cultivating, pruning, weeding, replanting/staking new trees, poling, raking, and hand harvesting. In addition to general labor tasks, must safely operate, adjust and maintain the company’s farm equipment. Must be able to move freely between tasks depending on workload, season, etc. Other ag related tasks as needed, including but not limited to, cleaning up of roadways, equipment yards, shops.

Special Requirements

We require two months of recent and verifiable experience within the past two years for the job duties listed. This position requires a minimum of two months for the employee to get a full understanding of the job and responsibilities. Must be able to understand work & safety instructions in English or Spanish, the languages spoken and written in the workplace.
