Landscape Worker

Job description

Landscape or maintain grounds, including: sprinkler installation, heavy trenching and digging to install sprinkler pipe, sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, weeding, raking. Use movers and hand tools, such as shovels, picks, rakes, pruning saws, hedge or brush trimmers.

May perform other job duties pursuant to 37-3011, Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers.

F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35 hours/week, 0-20 OT hours/week (OT hours available, but not guaranteed); 8-hour shifts; 5 days/week (Mon-Fri); 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule varies.

F.b.9a: Workers will be paid no less than $15.70 per hour. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary and will be paid no less than $23.55 per hour.

F.c.1: The H-2B Temporary Landscape Workers will perform job duties at 2695 South 600 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 and at customer sites throughout the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. All anticipated work locations are within the same Salt Lake City BLS Area and the prevailing wage is the same for all locations.

F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from the shop at 2695 South 600 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 to and from worksites.

Special Requirements

No formal education, training or experience required. On-the-job training will be provided.
