Job description
Perform manual labor associated with landscape maintenance and mulch installation. Install mulch by loading, carrying, and spreading materials around trees, flower beds, and landscaped areas. Edge, blow, and clean work areas. Pull weeds, remove debris. Load, unload, and move tools, equipment, and materials. Maintain clean and safe work areas. Follow all employer instructions and safety procedures. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive physical activity.
The employer may offer raises/bonuses to temporary employees hired under this job order, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors such as performance, skill, and job tenure. Wages will be calculated based on a single workweek. Employees will be paid weekly.
Schedule: The work schedule may vary based on business and weather conditions. A sample schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The expected work schedule is approximately 40 hours per week. The employer may offer more hours than specified, depending on company needs, and other conditions. On-the-job training is available.
Special Requirements
Lift, carry, and move bags of mulch weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to perform physically demanding outdoor work. Workers may handle up to 200 bags per person per day depending on worksite needs and employer direction.
