Job description
Operate stationary equipment such as dryer, cleaner, gin stand, lint cleaner, bale press to perform post-harvest tasks such as ginning; record weights and other identifying information including weight of bale and seed; manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery; drive telehandler to load modules on feeder; drive yard truck to move modules; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; drive pickup to obtain parts and supplies; daily upkeep and cleaning of equipment while ginning; during times of peak need and depending on weather or crop conditions, hours requested may increase; work at day/night may be requested; employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
