Job description
Load, transport, unload, export and process grains, feed, feed ingredients, bulk products, food grade products in intermodal containers. Pick up empty intermodal containers. Transport products from producer and/or processor to end user, farms, further processor to end user, further processor, and ware facilities. Product will be transported via manual transmission semi tractors and combination trailers such as bulk pneumatic tank, bulk and combination auger, bulk commodity and dry vans.
Special Requirements
Must have CDL Class A experience. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs for 75 yards. Must be able to handle temperature extremes. Some weekend work. The vehicles the employees will be driving have a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Other than a Class A CDL no other license or endorsement is required. The worker must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
