Fish Cutter/trimmers

Job description

Use hand or hand tools to perform routine cutting and trimming of seafood. Package seafood into containers by placing cleaned/cut fish into trays. Includes weighing portions, vacuum sealing, and stacking finished packages onto pallets or racks. Employees will regularly stretch across processing tables, conveyor belts, or boat hulls to reach fish and supplies. Tools and supplies may include knives, gloves, ice bins, packaging film, and cartons. Unload tuna and swordfish for processing, unload boxes, and reload packaged product onto pallets for shipping. Involves loading and unloading tools and supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Involves working outdoors in all types of weather. Involves frequent stooping or bending. Possibility of performance based raise, bonuses, overtime and Saturdays as required. 60 minutes of unpaid breaks throughout the day. Daily hours may vary between start and end times listed depending on weather or job assignments.
