Job description
Raking, bailing, spreading and loading pine straw onto tractors by hand working strictly on farms. Use hand tools such as pitchfork and rakes. Any duty associated with SOC Code 45-2092.
Special Requirements
- Must be willing and able to tolerate very hot or very cold temperatures.
- Must be willing and able to tolerate loud noises.
- Must be able to walk long distances throughout day and be able to perform physical labor.
- Must be available entire contract period.
- May conduct post-hire, employer-paid drug testing.
Special Requirements and Provisions:
- All worksite locations are within driving distance of primary worksite location
- Employer will pay the highest of all prevailing wages for all worksite locations throughout the
entire period of employment.
- Employer may offer a bonus depending on experience and merit.
- Employer may pay by piece rate at approximately .85/roll.
- Workers will only work at one location per day and therefore daily transportation is not
required/provided.
- Employer does not provide housing.
