Tree pruning duties will take place on the ground using a hedge trimmer.

***Original Duties***
Assist with performing a variety of landscaping tasks to support the development, installation, and upkeep of outdoor spaces. Duties include mowing lawns; trimming, edging, and pruning trees, shrubs, and other plant materials; mulching beds; planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; weeding; fertilizing; and assisting with general grounds maintenance to ensure healthy landscape conditions. Additional duties include assisting with the installation of landscape features by carrying blocks, spreading gravel, sweeping sand into joints, placing pins in segmental wall units, and cleaning the work area. Workers use hand and power tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, brooms, mallets, mowers, weed eaters, and gas-powered blowers to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Special Requirements

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire random DOT drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Workers that are able to obtain a valid U.S. driver's license may drive company vehicles (driving is not a requirement of all workers in the position). Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
