Kitchen Helper

Job description

Kitchen Helpers will be responsible for washing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand, maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in clean condition, sweeping, and scrubbing floors, deep cleaning, preparing various foods for cooking by peeling potatoes and carrots (using a peeler) and by packaging and labeling products for sale in the Chef’s Cupboard/Snack Bar, assisting members with Chef’s Cupboard/ Snack Bar purchases by escorting members to items that they are looking for, answering questions, and charging purchases to member accounts via a register (no cash involved), and sorting and removing trash. Kitchen Helpers may need to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm, and 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end hotel, restaurant, resort, or private club.
