Job description
Unload crabs from delivery vehicles and transport them manually to holding tanks or the processing area. Inspect seafood for quality, removing any dead or undersized crabs according to company standards. Weigh crabs, record accurate weights, and pack them in Styrofoam boxes with gel packs. Sort crabs by size and grade based on company specifications. Label packed seafood products clearly and accurately for tracking and distribution. Load labeled boxes onto designated carts or storage areas for local delivery or export. Maintain strict quality control to ensure all seafood meets freshness and safety standards. Monitor and record water tank and freezer temperatures regularly to preserve seafood quality. Clean and sanitize workstations, tanks, and tools daily according to food safety regulations. Move supplies and packaging materials throughout the facility manually or using hand-operated tools as needed.
Special Requirements
