Job description
Keep buildings, facilities, and surrounding grounds clean, safe, and orderly. Perform heavy cleaning and general janitorial duties for commercial and residential properties. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing restrooms and common areas, removing trash and debris, cleaning windows and entryways, and maintaining overall property appearance. Perform seasonal outdoor cleanup and property maintenance during the fall and spring seasons, including raking and removing leaves, clearing branches, sticks, and storm debris, cleaning parking lots and walkways, hauling yard waste, and maintaining exterior common areas. Duties also include clearing gutters and entrances of accumulated debris, sweeping sidewalks, and assisting with seasonal property preparation and cleanup using shovels, rakes, brooms, leaf blowers, and other hand tools. Notify management of needed repairs, unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns. Follow safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Special Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Prolonged standing, walking on slippery surfaces, and navigating large areas.
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment.
Climbing ladders, manual dexterity for handling tools, and operating machinery.
Endurance for extended periods in various weather conditions, including cold and wet environments.
