Job description
Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals. Mixes feed and additives, fill feed troughs with feed and waters livestock. Examines animals to detect diseases and injuries, vaccinates animals by using syringes, maintain records on animals. Assist in harvesting of crops for feeding of the livestock. Many maintain ranch buildings and equipment. Must speak and understand English.
Special Requirements
One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
